In 1998 Piper McNealy joined Carol Chandor and Kathryn Tolan to build Boston Benefit Partners with the dream of creating a unique, team-based employee benefit consulting firm that would provide high quality expertise, unsurpassed customer service, and innovative solutions. More than twenty years later, that dream has become a reality.

A graduate of Babson College, her entrepreneurial acumen and employee benefit expertise have earned her both regional and national recognition.  Managing large, multi-state accounts, Piper is an expert in self-funded plans, ACA, HIPAA, and other employee benefit related subjects.  Although she began her career at a large international employee benefit consulting firm, she has never regretted being the leader of her own entrepreneurial enterprise, where she can work daily with her clients in a non-hierarchical environment.

In addition to leading BBP, Piper is committed to her community.  In 2009 she was recognized and inducted into the National MS Society’s Volunteer Hall of Fame for raising well over $1,000,000 in contributions, and in 2012 she was presented the TOYL (Top Outstanding Young Leaders) award by the Boston Chamber of Commerce. She served as Chairman of the Board for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, from 2014-2016.

Piper never seeks accolades, and always gives credit to those on her “team” – whether she is at work, on a bike race, or the head of a large fundraiser. As a leader, trainer, and employee benefits professional, she values the products and services provided by BBP to our clients and is committed to those with whom she works.
