Mary Redmond is BBP’s newest full-time addition to our consulting team. Mary joined BBP in June 2024 after graduating from the University of Vermont (UVM) in Burlington, Vermont. While at UVM, Mary focused on her academic curriculum majoring in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration and Global Business Theme. Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree in May 2024 while making the Dean’s List for every semester. Mary was also a Grossman School of Business Honors Day Nominee for excellence in Marketing and Outstanding Junior and a Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society member. In addition to her academic interests, Mary studied abroad in Florence, Italy at The Lorenzo de’ Medici International Institute.

During her time at university, Mary had work experience directly and indirectly related to employee benefits. Mary was a summer intern in Human Resources for Primary Care Health Partners (Williston, Vermont) working to streamline and digitize records. She was also a marketing operations intern at National Life Group (Montpelier, Vermont) assisting their team with project management and implementation planning. Mary’s work experience and attention to academic excellence is a great base on which to build employee benefits consulting skills.

Mary is a new Benefits Analyst and as such, is assigned to the BBP Analyst Bench working on supporting senior staff on day-today projects. Her responsibilities include claims data reporting and analysis, drafting required documents for compliance purposes, and supporting all client initiatives. With her educational background and success in organizing events, we hope that Mary will join different BBP operational committees in the future.

In Mary’s time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Whether they are going on walks, playing games, or trying new recipes in the kitchen, Mary loves quality time with her loved ones. She also loves traveling and trying new things, and is always on the lookout for new restaurants, nature trails, and experiences both in and out of Boston!
