Lucas joined BBP as a Benefits Analyst in September of 2016 and earned several well-deserved promotions in the following years consistent with his growth and professional development.
As a Senior Consultant for BBP, he leads client teams and specializes in his ability to grasp and express complex subjects in a meaningful way. Lucas plays an integral role in all phases of the client marketing and renewal process, from the collection of plan data, to creating financial exhibits, and attending all finalist interviews. He also assists in the transition of new clients to BBP, reaches out for data requests and identifies any discrepancies to ensure a seamless transition. Lucas is a valuable resource within his client teams (his ability to recall details is exceptional). Lucas also manages vendor communications and works closely with his team members to research and provide responses to both client and vendor questions.
Lucas works with several key accounts that are often self-insured with sophisticated client structures. He leads client teams and coordinates a variety of options/emerging solutions for their consideration.
Lucas and his wife live in Brooklyn, New York and enjoy all that the city offers. Lucas walks more in one day than most of us walk in a week exploring the five boroughs of New York City. Lucas still makes time to return to his home state of Maine to spend time on the mountain skiing in the winter and enjoying the coast during the summer. He graduated from Providence College in 2014 with a BS in finance and continues his enthusiastic support of the Friars!
