Joanna McDonough

Senior Benefits Analyst

Joanna joined BBP as a Benefits Analyst in May 2018. Her addition contributed to a growing Friar representation in the office, making her the third BBP member to have graduated from Providence College. Joanna graduated from PC in 2017 with a degree in Health Policy and Management and minors in both Business and Women’s Studies.

Passionate about the health of women and children, Joanna was chosen as an Injury Prevention Scholar as part of the 4-Safety Program, a partnership between Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Dunkin’ Donuts, that seeks to control injuries in children and young adults throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.  Here she contributed to the development of the hospital’s 4-Safety public health program and took a course on child and maternal morbidity and mortality at Brown University. Prior to joining the BBP team, Joanna also worked at Pathfinder International where she assisted in the coordination and reporting of project and program level data.

As a part of the BBP team, Joanna contributes her skills in communications and plan analysis to client teams. She assists in the compilation and summary formation of data and provides timely responses to client inquiries and requests, applying lessons learned through her senior field experience at the Massachusetts Health Connector.

A Boston native and foodie at heart, Joanna enjoys finding new restaurants to try on weekends with friends, but swears she will never get tired of visiting her favorites.
