Charles Rutman joined the BBP team in 2024 as a part of the Total Wellbeing & Engagement Team. His primary role is to assist clients in building and growing their total wellbeing and engagement programs.
Charles is pursuing his Master’s in Public Healthmaster’s in public health with a certificate in Health Policy and Law focusing on quantitative metrics from the Boston University School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts.
Before enrolling in his master’s program, Charles obtained a Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin – Madison through the School of Kinesiology. He majored in Exercise and Movement with a certificate in Athletic Healthcare and Jewish Studies.
While studying for his degrees, Charles worked as a Rehabilitation Technician at M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In that role, Charles supported the delivery of physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions in a fast-paced hospital setting. Charles also has a passion for volunteer work, donating his time and skillset to Badger Sports and Performance Lab in Madison, Wisconsin, compiling pilot data on basic and advanced statistics pertaining to student athlete wellbeing. Charles also spent time at Twin Cities Orthopedics in Eagan, Minnesota providing hands-on therapy and documentation of post-operation metrics. Finally, Charles volunteered at Interlude Restorative Suites in Plymouth, Minnesota offering therapeutic care to elderly patients returning to independent daily living.
Charles enjoys all outdoor activities. He loves to play basketball and tennis in his time away from work and likes to travel abroad, experiencing the different culturesdiverse cultures of the world.
